Both of these William H Friends are the wrong birth date for a man who married my great grandmother briefly, before discovering she was pregnant with another man's child. She was born in 1869, and I believe the 1837 Wm. was too old, and the one born in 1879 would have been 10 years old when Grandpap was born. There must have been another William H H Friend. They were married in 1889 in the beginning of the year, and the marriage was either annulled or they were divorced within a month or two. I suspect my Wm. was born between 1850 and 1870. Delores
