Nickole, Our Hetrick family grew up in Akron, OH! Walked two miles to high school in it . . . legs froze (we weren't allowed to wear pants to school). Had to walk in the door backwards to keep my glasses from fogging up. Our dad Ernest was raised on Maynardier Ridge Rd in Bittinger. Was told many stories about the gatherings at Buckel's Store in Bittinger, where they played cards there by the old pot belly stove on the bad weather days. Never heard much about Dad and his brothers playing in the snow. I heard about pranks pulled on Halloween though. Hmmmmm. Something to talk to the cousins about. :-) Lois Hetrick Stewart In a message dated 12/5/2003 12:22:25 PM Pacific Standard Time, auntnikkib@aol.com writes: > Hello from NE Ohio!! Just remember, all my nice list friends/Friends, Alaska isn't the only place where the Air Force Arctic Circle rules for entering and exiting doorways should apply, "Everybody in before anybody out." Oh, and especially those of you still in that nice warmer doorway, watch out for those trying to enter backwards with or without foggy glasses!!!!!!
