Regardless, if Stephen's son "John H. Friend" were Rebecca Jane's father and Friend was actually Rebecca's legal MAIDEN name; could/would not her mother have applied for benefits on Rebecca's behalf? Even if her mother had now married Charles Haskell, Rebecca would still have been entitled, correct? Just stickin' me nose in.
