    3. Hi there, Could this be Joseph Harrison Friend (s/o Elijah Sr.) who served in Co. D, 3rd Potomac Home Brigade & was a prisoner at Moorefield, VA during the Civil War? He was living in Sang Run in the 1920 census but his wife Florence was listed as a widow in the 1930 census. I don't know his death date or where he was buried though. Friend, no dates, but listing the same CW service that you list is buried at the Sang Run Cemetery, per "Graves of Garrett County Maryland" by DAR book. Pat-T
