Could this be Joseph Harrison Friend (s/o Elijah Sr.) who served in Co. D, 3rd Potomac Home Brigade & was a prisoner at Moorefield, VA during the Civil War? He was living in Sang Run in the 1920 census but his wife Florence was listed as a widow in the 1930 census. I don't know his death date or where he was buried though. ---- Kathleen, J. H.
