He then lived out the rest of his long life in Garrett Co., dying there when nearly 101 years old. Elijah Sines had returned earlier to Garrett as a young man. He is found, at nearly 21 yrs of age, living in Garrett Co.with his older brother John in the 1880 census. . I know that there are Rodeheaver families, some out of Preston Co., who once lived in (or still do) in Upshur Co. WV. You might want to consider checking them out as a family source for your Sevilla if she doesn't fit into any of the Garrett Co. Rodeheavers. In fact, I would suggest you look into the John & Delilah Rodeheaver family that lived in Pleasant, Preston Co. WV. They have a daughter named Savilla who is the right age. They are listed in the 1880 census under the spelling of RODEHAVER that year, (the Sines in Garrett were listed as SIGNS that year) and their daughter Savilla is listed as age 16 or b: abt. 1864. Your Sevilla was b: Sep.10.1863 so this could be a match. Worth a look into. Sorry, it has been so long since this was posted, but I finally have determined that you are right, Sevilla is indeed a Rodeheaver, and her marriage to Elijah Sines is where the name Sevilla Sines comes from. She IS the daughter of John Rodeheaver and Delilah Friend. Now that her identity is established, can anyone provide more info on her date of birth beyond "1863"? And children born, whether to her marriage to Elijah Sines or Charles Edward McCrobie?
