Hi Helen, Both Kathleen and I work on the line for Charles Friend b. 1734 Virginia d. bef. Aug. 8, 1827 in Missouri. The area was Scott Co., MO, Charles moved there in about 1796-97, near Benton. It is reported that he is buried at the Friend's Cemetery, east of Oran. However, I think that the stone for Charles Friend is a new stone as it is inscribed with what appears to be "incorrect information".
