Sandy, Sorry to bother you again on the same subject but I am wondering if the DAR application that you mentioned with birth of 1736 d. 1810 have Casper Durst as an accepted patriot? Who was on the application as the person wanting to join the DAR? Thanks so much. Patricia Durst Shaffer
Pat, the application they sent me was for Nancy Fern Hafer DeVore. This application was processed in 2002 and was approved. If you are looking for something more, you could call or write the DAR and request a copy of Margaret Cupler's application. I'm not sure if they will send a specific application, but it doesn't hurt to try. The address is: www.DAR.org. I believe Margaret's national number is 498-909. The cost is minimal, just $10 for each application. The ladies I have dealt with there have been most helpful.
