That problem is about to be solved. The Family History Library is about to release a new online service that will permit corrections of the data on www.familysearch.org That will be a great step forward in cooperative online genealogy since we can submit our records and allow various genealogists to add their input if they have different facts. Each person can include the source for their information (another new feature) so that we can compare and decide on which details to accept. This new online service will be released "soon" ...
