MD Charles, (same last name that I can't read) 10, step son b. MD Letia Gant (again, it is hard to read) 3/12, b. Mch. In MD Heritage Quest has three pages of GANT names. I am sorry that I don't have time to send more right now. Pat -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of William Mattox The information you provided has a certain "ring" to it. I noticed a Ralph and a Conrad in the Gantt family. And my grandfather's name was Ralph Conrad. I have a strong suspicion that those men could have been namesakes for him. I also noticed a Pearl Gantt. I know that one of Nannie's sisters was named Pearl. It is possible that one of the other sisters was nicknamed Nannie. There are too many "coincidences" here to ignore and I think this family link deserves further investigation. I'll see if I can find it on my search tool. I am told by family oral tradition that Pearl and her husband ran some kind of a store in Grantsville around the turn of the century so I am going to continue to explore that angle as well. But this is a huge find in my mind. Now my mind is whirring off in a new direction. Thanks for your help.
