Eileen, I agree with you. I have a subscription and would not be able to really do any research with out it. I live in Canada and having a subscription is the only way I am able to continue my research, as I live so far from the areas of information that I need - MD, WV, PA, VA, NC. I only make a few trips home each year and spend most of my time when I do go home catching up with my family and friends. I had previously subscribed to Godfrey, but they stopped providing access to Heritage Quest - which was what I needed, as I don't have local libraries here that you can access it through. For some of us - having a subscription is the only way we can continue researching without paying a professional to do it for us. That is just my 2 cents. Happy Holidays! Wendy
