Did you try to find this person by Dietz or Deitz..I have some relatives by marriage in Baltimore and that is they way they spell the name.

Margie, There are no Deitz. There is a listing for Dietz as follows: On the vessel "Irene", who was in service for the church. She brought a large number of colonists from Europe for settling the estates of the Church of Pennsylvania.The "Irene" arrived at New York on May 12, 1749 with the "John Nitschmann Colony". The John Nitschmann Colony was said to be the largest brought over on a Moravian transport. Listed in the roster of colonists is Rosina Dietz, a single woman. On a later voyage of the "Irene", which docked in New York on Nov. 20, 1752, Maria C. Dietz was listed as a single woman. This is all that I have. Wendy
