Phil, I fear Yahoo has found a way to spam Rootsweb add's. There is a Virginia Kelley but I doubt she would approve this rash of cross-posting. Report it to admin. or Rootsweb.
Nothing to do with Yahoo at all. It looks like her spam blocker/challenge response email program. Spam blockers do not work well with Rootsweb email unless the subscriber takes the digest version. No one can add the email address to a 'white-list' of the RW list, and everytime there's a posting the email addy in question will begin another round of sending out requests to add the email to the 'white-list' -- a never ending loop. If I were the list admin I'd tell her to either stop using the spam blocker/challenge response email or go to the digest version that's what I suggest to subscribers on all of my lists who want to use challenge response/spam blockers that interfere with RW mail.
