    1. Re: [MDGARRET] Emma (Teets) Deal & Meyers/Myers family
    2. Hi Mary, In the book "The Flowery Vale" (Accident), p. 160, shows Emma Deal in a picture taken about 1900 on the Joseph Groer farm, now the property of James R. Wellborn. It's an article about cutting timber. You really can't make out what she looks like. Couldn't find anything on Mabel M. Haenftlling, but other Haenftling menttioned were Alexander, Car, Earl, John, Prema, and Walter. Maybe some clues here. Seems that the Myers line is related to the Diehl/Deals and Hetricks. My g-grandparents Conrad and Nancy Upphold Hetrick's youngest dau Rosa m. Jesse Lenhart. Rosa's oldest son, John, married Edna Deal. My Dad Ernest Elwood Hetrick spoke of her often when I was young and I remember the name--he didn't speak much about many family members that I can recall, so her name stood out. In the 1880 census for Grantsville, Conrad and Nancy's dau Matilda "Tilly" Hetrick Stark was living with Margaret Custer (71) next door to the Henry and Caroline Myers family. Ann Moriah Myers (71), living alone, was on the other side. Do you have any knowledge of her or what her maiden name was? Lois Hetrick Stewart I have an obit that was in the Republican on July 22, 2004, for Mabel M. Haenftlling. She was b. Sept 24, 1915, in Accident and d. July 18, 2004, at Goodwill Mennonite Home, Grantsville. She was the daughter of Jefferson and Emma (Teets) Deal. Can anyone lead me to this family line? Can't seem to find anything on her or him. Thanks, Mary Myers Teets
