Thrasher, nearly nine years old died last Thursday night, after an illness of less than a week. She was one of the most interesting children in the whole town, and although so young, was one of the most promising members of the Band of Hope, of the sewing school and Sunday school. With a remarkably correct and sweet little voice, always read to lead or join in all the children's songs. Her sorrowing parents have the sympathy of the whole community. She was buried on Saturday. The funeral services, conducted by Rev. G. W. W. Amick, were held in the Lutheran Church, which was very beautifully decorated with flowers.
