Oakland- Ernest Theodore Wilt, 59, of RD 1, Oakland, died suddenly Friday morning at his residence. Born in Fairville, MD, Oct. 18, 1901, he was a son of the late John and Barbara (McRobie) Wilt. He was a member of Ferndale Baptist Church and had been a miner and farmer. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ina (Keefer) Wilt; three daughters, Mrs. Willavine Chrisman and Mrs. Ernestine Helbig, both of Cleveland, and Mrs. Donna Rounds, Bloomington; three brothers, Harry Wilt, Clarksburg, and George and Herbert Wilt, both of Shinnston, and a sister, Mrs. Susan Hobart, Shinnston, and 11 grandchildren. The body is at the Minnich Funeral Home where friend will be received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted at the funeral home tomorrow at 2 p.m. with the Rev. I. Luke Walters officiating. Interment will be in the Ferndale Cemetery. Cumberland Times - Feb 26, 1961
