Adolph Filsinger, aged 56 years, died at his home near Deer Park, April 14, after a prolonged illness. He was born in Thairnback, Germany, Mary 24, 1870, and came to Garrett County in 1886 with his parents. He was a member of the Lutheran Church. He is survived by his wife, four sons and four daughters. Mrs. John Oremusy, of Philadelphia, Adolph Filsinger, West Newton, PA, Mrs. Alfred Marheim, Philadelphia, Carl, Gilbert, Harry, Pauline and Emma, at home, and two sisters and one brother. The funeral services were conducted at the home Saturday afternoon by Rev. Dr. Archibald Moore, Oakland, with interment in Deer Park Cemetery. Cumberland Evening Times April 24, 1926
