my name is diana hanft posey. my father was clarence (red) hanft. his father was conrad hanft and his father was charles hanft. i have info on charles and his brothers,  but later descendants are iffy. i would love to have pictures of the family and will share what i have of conrad and clarence hanft and my sibs. i have been to accidnet and the cemeteries where most hanft's  were buried, but it was quite some time ago. elmer hanft gave me a formal picture of the family which i very much  treasure. iam trying to get the info filled in for my sibs and children thanks for any help dlp2107@yahoo.com

George Fazenbaker (born 1756 Hesse, Germany, died 1810 Allegany, MD) was reputedly a "Hessian" soldier who was captured by George Washington, and then fought on the side of the Revolutionaries. Have any of his descendants ever successfully applied to Sons or Daughters of the American Revolution on the basis of being his descendant? Any information substantiating his service in Washington's army would be appreciated. Peter Kilcullen
