he Cumberland Evening Times, 16 February 1932: Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Deetz, 83, widow of William T. Deetz, who died Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harry O'Neal, Baltimore Turnpike, were conducted yesterday a the home of Mrs. Ralph T. Hoy, another daughter, 3 Decatur street. The Rev. Harry Edward Evaul, pastor, Centre Street Methodist Episcopal Church read the office of the dead. Burial was in Greenmount Cemetery. Many relatives and friends from this city and outlying sections were present at the Hoy home for the final rites. Among those from a distance in attendance were Mr. and Mrs. John W. Gloss, Mrs. W.T. Sisco, harry palmer and Victor A. Gloss, a son-in-law of Mrs. Deetz, all of McKeesport, Pa.; and Harry G. Fawcett, also a son-in-law, Gary, Indiana. The pallbearers were Charles A. Frost, Lawrence Smith, Howard Perrin, Sherman B. Myers, Bruce Wilson and Frank Lee Carl.
