The Cumberland Evening Times, Luke Maryland, April 30, 1937:  William C. Dawson, 75, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Herbert Dawson, yesterday morning.  He had been in ill health since last September.  Mr. Dawson was a local minister of the First Methodist Episcopal Church and had been employed at the West Virginia Pulp and Paper Company.  Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2:30 p.m., from the First M.E. Church.  Interment will be a Dawson, Md.  Besides  his daughter, he leaves a grandson, Herbert Dawson, Jr. Luke, and a brother, Alex Dawson, Shalima
