Cumberland Evening Times, 26 Nov 1943:  Westernport:  Mrs. Sarah Hart Dawson, 84, widow of Charles Newton Dawson, died last night at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Edward Dayton, Front street, with whom she resided.  She suffered a broken hip two weeks ago in  a fall at the home.  She was born at Dawson, a daughter of the late John E. and Nancy Dayton Hart.  She was a member of Trinity Methodist church, Piedmont. Surviving children in addition to Mrs. (Lucy) Dayton, are Mrs. Josephine Stewart, Cumberland; C.N. and Herbert Dawson, Luke; Harry, Turtle Creek, PA; Thomas, Westernport, and Clifford, McCoole.  There are 39 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
