28 June 1890, The Republican:  Died at Keystone Mine, PA., June 14thy, 1890, Joshua Recknor, aged 15 years and 3 months.  He was buried at MT. Zion M.E. Church near Shade Mills.  Funeral Services were conducted by Rev. Evans of Salisbury, PA.
