The Cumberland Evening Times, March 19, 1928:  Mrs. Alice G. Steiner, 68 years old, wife of John W. Steiner, died at 10:30 o'clock Saturday night at her home, 153 Polk Street.  She was a life long resident of this city and a member of Centre Street Methodist Episcopal Church. Besides her husband, se is survived by four children; Miss Grace G. Steiner, Cincinnati, Ohio; Johns S. Steiner, of Buffalo, N.Y..; Mrs. Esther Lechillter and Allen M. Steiner, this city. Funeral services will be held at 1:15 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the home with Rev. H.E. Thompson, pastor of Centre Street Methodist Episcopal Church, officiating.  Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
