Cumberland Evening Times, 22 Dec, 1943:  Charles C. Deetz, 81, 123 Hanover street, retired plaster contractor, died today.  A native of Cumberland, he was the son of the late John Wesley and Catherine Catron. Surviving are a brother William R., of the hardware firm of Wilson and Pugh, and a sister, Miss Anna W. Deetz, city.  Mr Deetz was one of the oldest members in point of age of Cumberland Lodge No. 63, B.P.O.E.
