    3. OBITUARY:  Cumberland Evening Times, Saturday 27 Nov. 1915:  Perry Deetz, age 58 years, died at his home, 312 N. Centre St at one o'clock this morning after an illness of one week.  Death was caused by asthma.  The deceased is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jennie Deetz  and eight children.  Calvin, Frederick, Perry, Mrs. J.L. Sewaringen, Mrs. James Quinn, of New Castle, PA, Mrs. Bernard Giles of Tennessee, Mrs Harry Rollins, Steuvenville, Ohio and Mrs Michael Cosgrove of Cumberland. Funeral arrangements have not been made. Mr. Deetz had lived in this city all his life.  He was a bricklayer by trade. OBITUARY:  Cumberland Evening Times, Feb 24, 1960:  Frederick David Deetz, 68, Oldtown, died last night in the County Infirmary. A native of Sharon, PA, he was born November 13, 1891, a son of the late Harry and Jennie (Cessna) Deetz. Mr. Deetz was a retired painter and spent most of his life in Cumberland. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Dora (Piper) Deetz, a stepson Thomas Bucy, Oldtown; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Wilson, Decatur, Ala, and Miss Carol Sue Deetz, Oakland, a foster daughter, Mrs. Delores Boyer, Niagara Falls, N.Y. four sisters, Mrs. Bertha Frantz, this city and Mrs Anamae Rollings, Warren, Oho, Mrs. Grace Davis, this city and Mrs. Hazel Quinn, Warren; 11 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.  The body is at the Stein Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 2-4 P.M. and 7 to 9 P.M.
