There is a marriage record for Frederick Burch and Dora Benson and at the top of the page it reads: "Walter Sypolt - see letter of Melissa Sypolt on file". Interesting but I can't explain its meaning. Pat, The full note at the top of the page indicates that the license was delivered to Walter Sypolt (whether in person or by mail I'm not sure). Melissa was his mother.
