Mrs. Elizabeth Lane, 72 years of age, died today at 12:15 p.m. at the home of her son-in-law, Mr. David Warnick, who resides at Lena Street. Death was due to old age. The deceased is survived by the following children: William R. Lyberger, Sarah Lyberger, Margaret Iser and Mrs. Rosia Warnick. The funeral will occur Thursday with services at the house. Interment will be made in Rose Hill Cemetery. Evening Times (Cumberland, MD) July 15, 1907 John Bankard, one of the oldest and best known farmers in Garrett county, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lewis Warnick, near New Germany, last Tuesday, aged 81. Cause of death was paralysis. His wife died four years ago, but he leaves two daughters, Mrs. Lewis Warnick and Mrs. Frances Durst, both of New Germany, and one son, Charles, who is in Michigan. The funeral took place yesterday, and interment was made in New Germany. Evening Times June 4, 1909 Typhoid fever claimed another victim when Miss Beulah Warnick, 18 years old, formerly employed as a milliner at Lambert's Baltimore Street, died yesterday morning at the home of her mother, Mrs. Addie Warnick, Glenn St. She had been ill three weeks. Miss Warnick and the family came here from Elk Garden, WV. Besides her mother, Miss Warnick is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Clyde James and Miss Beryl Warnick. The funeral will take place on Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from Kingsley Methodist Episcopal Church. Rev. A. E. Slagle will officiate and interment will be in Rose Hill cemetery.
