Salisbury, PA-Austin C. Broadwater, 70, of Three Springs, died there Monday. He was a former resident of Salisbury and Garrett County, MD. Born in Garrett county, he was a son of the late Samuel and Clara (Warnick) Broadwater. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ. Surviving are his widow, H. Gretchen (Otto) Broadwater; three sons, Foster D., McConnelsburg; Hubert F., Cuyahoga Falls, OH, and Wayne O. Broadwater, Salisbury; a sister, Mrs. Hazel Hoffman, Salisbury, and six grandchildren. The body will be at the Thompson Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today. Services will be conducted there tomorrow at 2 p.m. by Rev. Ernest N. Rumbaugh. Burial will be in Salisbury IOOF Cemetery. Cumberland Evening Times Feb 8, 1968 BARTON-Funeral service for Samuel Warnick, 86, who died Friday at the residence of his sister, Mrs. Maggie Custer, Elbow, Garrett County, with whom he resided, were held Monday from the home with Rev. D. J. Combs, pastor of the Grantsville Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was in the family cemetery. Pallbearers were Wade H., Alfred and Arthur Broadwater, Ralph Wiland, John Merrill and Stanley Warnick. Mr. Warnick, who had been in failing health three years, suffered the loss of sight at an early age in a wood chopping accident. Another sister, Mrs. Jane Fauzey, Frostburg, also survives. Out-of-town relatives attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. James Warnick, Mrs. Angus Gillus, Mrs. Laura Warnick and William Warnick, all of Akron. Cumberland Evening Times March 31, 1948 Grantsville- Final rites for Dr. Thomas Olin Broadwater, 56, well known local dentist, who died Friday in Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, were conducted Monday afternoon from the home of his sisters, Misses Ethel and Viola Broadwater, by Rev. D. J. Combs, pastor of Grantsville Methodist Church and Rev. George Ely. Frostburg Lodge No. 99, A. F. and A. M., had charge of the service and interment was in Salisbury PA cemetery. Relatives attending the rites were Dr. and Mrs. Melvin Frost Broadwater, Frederick; Dr. G. V. Broadwater and Mrs. Isabel Hull, Hagerstown; Mr. and Mrs. R. J.
