Mrs. Louisa O'Brien Beckman, 86, of North Glade, Garrett County, MD, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Herman Steiding, near Wilson, MD, yesterday. On July 4, 1861, she married Theodore Beckman, of Swanton, MD. To this union was born 13 children, 55 grandchildren and 60 great grandchildren. Her husband preceded her in death 12 years ago. She leaves the following children: Charles Beckman, Mrs. Herman Steiding, Richard Beckman, George Beckman, Joseph Beckman, all of Swanton, MD; also the family of Mrs. Maggie Fulmer Howell (adopted) deceased; John Beckman, Cumberland, Mrs. Mollie Pence, Piedmont, WV; Mrs. O. F. Sharpless, Miss Ada Beckman, Blaine, WV, and Mrs. Scott Shreves, Oakland, MD Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 11 o'clock a.m. at North Glade Church, Rev. E. E. Campbell of the Lutheran Church at Meadow Mountain will have charge. Burial will be in the family lot in Rose Hill Cemetery, North Glade, MD. Her grandsons will act as pallbearers and flower bearers.
