Marriage Licenses William Warnick, 21, miner and Ayrah Martha Wilt, 19, both of Barnum, WV Cumberland Evening Times April 17, 1919 Death of Relative Stopped Centenarian's Celebration Death interfered with the celebration of the one hundred anniversary of Ashford Warnick, of Dunbar, near Connellsville. While relatives were making extensive preparations, his son-in-law, Elijah Swink, with whom Mr. Warnick made his home, died. Despite his advanced age, Mr. Warnick enjoys reasonably good health and attributes his longevity to a simple life. He is fond of outdoor life and when the weather is favorable can be seen daily taking his walks. Mr. Warnick was born in Baltimore, MD, in 1820, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Warnick. He has resided at Dunbar since 1880. He served in the Civil War. Cumberland Evening Times Feb 16, 1920 Mrs. Archibald Warnick died Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harry Hummel at New Germany. Nine children survive-Mrs. Hummel and Mrs. Lewis Broadwater, New Germany; Mrs. Orville Stark, Avilton; Mrs. Lawrence Compton, Nebraska; Mrs. Ellsworth Michael, Westernport; Mahlon Warnick, Jenners, and Lewis, Albert and John Warnick, of this county.
