The Republican Newspaper is a weekly publication. Many people since 1877 have submitted obituaries for publication to The Republican only. To the best of my knowledge The Republican Newspaper has not been scanned for online viewing. The Ruth Enlow Library, Oakland, MD, has recently been posting scanned copies of obituaries from The Republican online but to date they only extend to 1902. http://www.relib.net/obits/ The Garrett County Historical Society, 107 S.
