Widow of Arthur Dickson, she resided in Friendsville most of her life. She is survived by four sons, Paul Dickson, Fairmont, WV; Carl Dickson, Baltimore; Ray and Charles Dickson, both of Morgantown, WV; three daughters, Mrs. Ida Chidester, Mrs. Fike, both of Baltimore, and Mrs. Vera Rogers of Melroy, PA. Friends will be received at the Minnich Funeral Home, Grantsville, where the body will be brought, tomorrow from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted at the Blooming Rose Church, Friendsville, at 2 p.m. Wednesday by the Rev. Born in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of the late Solomon and Sarah (Furney) Lowther. She was a member of the Blooming Rose United Methodist Church, here; Republican Women's Club; Friendsville Homemakers Club; Historical Society, and Order of the Eastern Star, Oakland Chapter 67. She is survived by her husband, Leroy Hostetler; three sons, Leroy Hostetler, Jr., Charlotte, NC; Donald R. Hostetler, Lewistown, PA; and John E. Hostetler, West Palm Beach, FL; two brothers, Dale Lowther and Edgar Lowther, both of Pittsburgh; two sisters, Mrs. Della Welsheimer, Harbor Springs, MI; and Mrs. Doris Forse, Star Junction, PA; and eight grandchildren. The body is at the Newman Funeral Home where friend will be received tomorrow from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. OES will hold a service there Monday at 7:30 p.m. Services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Blooming Rose Church by Rev. She was born April 30, 1924, in Uniontown, a daughter of Mrs. Elizabeth Hinebaugh Fike and the late Jasper Fike. Surviving are her husband, Myles; her mother; four daughters, Mrs. Beverly Fike of Markleysburg and Pamela, Elaine and Tina at home; tow sons, Myles, Jr., and Terry at home; a sister, Mrs. Lorna James of Markleysburg; a half-sister; six brothers, including Russell, Arnold and Eugene Fike of Markleysburg, and two half-brothers, including Everett Fike of Grindstone. The body is at the Williams Funeral Home, Markleysburg, and will be at the Gospel Center Church from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday, the hour of the funeral service. The Rev. Charles MacNevin will officiate.     2. No, can not say that I am related. Strangely my Sinnet name was spelled with an "O" in the 1870 census. Not only that I think the came from Ireland, spent a couple of years and dropped off this earth. Never to be heard of again, except the daughter Mary Alice Sinnet went onto marry Joshua Rogers Robison, my g. grandfather. I never realized these names were so common. I have tried every spelling I can think of I did find an obit in Mineral County for a Michael Senet but no info on it that would allow me to confirm that this is my Michael Sinnet.
