    2. Mary Teets
    3. I have a Susannah Markley married to John Schliser and had son Samuel (1786-1870). This info came from: Roots Web's World Connect Project, Roots Web's World Connect Project, Markley Family of Somerset Co, PA; Timothy W Terry; TTerry4888@aol.com; 5/10/2000. Susannah's parents were Jacob Markley (1752-?) and Catherine. They fit into my Sisler family. Mary Wendy Mammoliti wrote: >Hi All, > >Does anyone have any info on Susannah Markley or Olivia Markley. My understanding is that the Indians (Shawnee?) from whom John L. Friend, Sr. purchased property along the river in the 1760s were transient, coming there only in the summer. I think the mouth of the Yough is actually in PA. The work and subsequent report were both supported by the University of Maryland. Not sure they have any more books but the library in Grantsville, MD has a copy of it that you can sit and read in there. Connie
