Sam, I think I am on to "Ople" - you'll see in another post on MDALLEGA-L. Did you see the conversation about John W McCrobie and his father Elisha Dewitt McCrobie? I know you have some thoughts about his wives. I decided last night that there is no wife named Cerria for Elisha, it is a mis-reading of her name on a census. When looked at carefully it is Cenith, which sure seems like Azenath to me. Look at the 1870 census for Elisha D McRobie. I wonder who ever came up with "Cerria" in the first place - it is clearly "th" at the end of the name. Whoever it was, it isnow all over the Interenet files wrong.
