Hi Pat, I am responding to your email from a week ago,if I have already responded just ignore this one but if I haven't then please forgive me for taking so long. You ask for my impression of the Gathering Of Friends, it was my first visit but it will not be my last. I was very much impressed by the amount of work that was put into the Gathering.I met a lot of family members that I did not know, some names I had heard over the years and some I had not.All in all it was a very enjoyable time and I gleaned a lot of new information for my genealogy study which was the icing on the cake.Lord willing, I will be at the next Gathering Of Friends in two years. My CASTEEL ancestor's from Garrett County have me so confused! I am searching for information on Jesse CASTEEL, son of Thomas. Jesse married Nancy TEETS, daughter of Michael TEETS, Jr. Other researchers say Jesse was the son of Shadrach CASTEEL. Does anyone have documented proof on this line of CASTEEL'S?
