    3. On June 3, 1837, the first black female was confirmed in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Frederick. She was Mary of the Thomas W. Morgan family. On June 3, 1854, the Frederick County Agricultural Society was incorporated. On June 3, 1993, President William Jefferson Clinton visited a Fredericktowne Village housing development in Frederick to promote his home ownership initiatives. On June 3, 2004, St. Peter The Apostle Roman Catholic Church in Libertytown was destroyed by an accidental fire. The rectory of the parish, located next door, was also heavily damaged. Twenty-two fire companies from four counties and Fort Detrick battled the blaze for hours to bring it under control.
