    3. On February 25, 1897, Julia Etchison (Mrs. John H. Hanna Jr.), who taught at Frederick High School for 32 years, was a published author and a columnist for The Frederick News-Post, was born. On February 25, 1921, Charles B. Robinson, 16, was hanged at the Frederick County Jail on West South Street in Frederick for the rape and murder of Mary Edith Coblentz Hightman at her Middletown area farm on November 16, 1920. This was the next to last execution in Frederick County. On February 25, 1990, President George H. W. Bush and German Chancellor Helmut Kohl held a joint news conference at Camp Greentop near Thurmont after two days of talks on a unified Germany at Camp David, the presidential retreat.
