I find it likely that John Renner's wife, named Lettitia, was confused with Daniel Renner's wife Lidia when the clerk originally copied the work ... or when the courthouse records were abstacted to publish the book. So far as I am concerned, we can let the matter lie at this point, because my belief has been strengthened that this is my ancestor, Peter Engle, who was mentioned in the abstract ... since he is otherwise known to be associated with John and Jacob Renner.
