I have a John Extine who witnessed and signed (in German) a Will written in 1826 Washington Co.. I believe the following person is the same John Extine. 1850 MD, Washington Co., Hagerstown Pg 148A Jno. Eckstine age 68 was a Luth. Minister born Germany Barbara age 73 born Germany The History of Western Maryland lists "Barbara, wife of John Eckstein, died Sept. 2, 1850, aged 73". She is buried in "the old St. John's Lutheran graveyard" of Hagerstown and vicinity. Note that John/Jno. was a Lutheran Minister. Can anyone on the list tell me what church(es) this minister served and over what time period? Is he buried with his wife? Thanks for any help, Jim
