Regarding the Klein's who founded Littlestown, PA... I've been tracking a group of allied families who seem to move together from arriving by ship in Philadelphia, through New Holland in Lancaster County or Berks Co. circa 1730's, then down to Frederick, MD then by the 1770's to Littlestown, Adams Co. Surnames involved are Winterode (Wenderoth/Wintrode); Sell; Bucher; Keplinger, etc. Some of their children are baptized in New Holland, most in Frederick area, a few later ones in Littlestown. All of these families intermarry at one point or another. Did the Klein's follow a similar migration pattern? They are often neighbors to above in Germany Township, Adams Co. These allied families obviously were following Peter Klein to his new settlement? Jonathan Beacher bucher@SiteServers.net
