A question for the list. How do we reconcile the info below?? In 1769 a John Ridgway buys 150 acres in Frederick County Maryland called "Dan" and this deed shows him as a resident of Prince Georges Count Maryland. In 1775 a John Ridgway buys land in Berkeley County West Virginia. In 1780 John Ridgway and Mary his wife deed part of this land to sons Philip and John and these deeds show them as residents of Berkeley County. Then in 1781 a John Ridgway and his wife Mary sell 150 acres of land called "Dan" in Montgomery County Maryland and this deed shows them as residents of Montgomery County. Are we dealing here with one John and Mary or with two???? Happy to swap info anytime. If anyone needs the full abstracts of these I will be happy to e-mail. Walt
