    3. Hello List, While doing some Frederick Co., research I came upon the following will. I hope it will help someone. Transcribed as is. Shirley Middleton Moller THE WILL of HENRY KRISE of FREDERICK COUNTY IN THE STATE OF MARYLAND In The Name Of God Amen I Henry Krise of Frederick County in the State of Maryland being Sick and weak in Body but of perfect sound and Disposing mind memory and Understanding Considering the Certainty of death and the Uncertain =ty of the time thereof and being Desirous to Settle my Worldly Affairs and thereby be the better prepa =red to leave this World when it shall please God to call me hence do therefore make and publish this my last will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say First and principally I Commit my soul into the hands of Almighty God and my Body to the Earth to be decently buried at the Discretion of my Executors hereinafter named and after my debts and funeral charges are paid I Desire and Bequeath as follows --- I Give and Bequeath unto my Beloved wife Mary one third of all the produce of The plantation whereon I now live and Also privilege of the House I now Ocupy and dwell in for her to live in during her life [should she survive me] And after her death I Give and Devise the said plantation with all the Appurtenances unto my son Peter and his heirs forever my son Peter or his heirs to pay the sum of Nine pounds Current money per Acre as hereinafter Described Item I Give and Bequeath to my son John or his heirs three hundred and fifty pounds Current money to be paid by my son Peter two years After my Decease Item I Give and Bequeath Unto my two daughters Catherine and Susanna twelve hundred pounds Current money that is to say six hundred pounds each to be paid unto them respectively in two Equal payments by my son Peter or his heirs The first payment to be made as aforesaid one Month After my Decease and The residue to be paid one year thereafter Item I Give and Bequeath to my two Daughters Catherine and Susanna all the Beds pewter Chest and other furniture which they or Either of them have under their names respectively in my possession or Else where Item I Give and Bequeath unto my daughter Mary wife of Adam Allaugh ten dollars Current money to be paid by my Executors one year after my decease Item I Give and Bequeath to my son Daniel Ten Dollars to be paid as Aforesaid Item I Give and Devise unto my sons John Peter Henry and Abraham certain Tract of Mountain Land Lying in the State of Pensylvania to be theirs and their heirs forever Item I Give and Bequeath unto my sons and my Daughters that is to say to John Peter Henry Abraham Catherine and Susanna Seven hundred and fifty pounds Current money being the Ballance yet remaining of the Valuation by me made on the plantation Devised to my son Peter to be Equally Divided Amongst them share and share Alike and paid Over by my son Peter to John Henry Abraham Catherine & Susanna respectively the first payment thereof to be made to John one year after he has received the three hundred and fifty pounds hereinbefore Bequeathed to him ant he Other payments to be made the rest Annually Thereafter in rotation According to Age Item I Give and Bequeath unto my tow Daughters Catherine & Susanna my two horse Creatures which I now have in possession It is my will and Desire that after my decease that all my personal property Shall be Sold by my Executors and the proceeds thereof Except my wifes thirds and funeral Expenses be Equally divided Between my sons and daughters to wit John Peter Henry Abraham Catherine and Susanna or their heirs & Lastly I do hereby Constitute and Appoint my two Sons to wit John & Peter Executors of this my last will and Testament revoking and Annulling all former wills by me here =tofore made Ratifying and Confirming this and none other to be my last will & Testament I Testimony whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Affixed my seal this Twenty Second day of January in the Year of our Lord Eighteen hundred & Ten Henry Krise -seal- signed sealed published and Declared by Henry Krise the above named Testator as and for his last will and Testament in the presence of us who att his request in his presence & in the presence of each other have Subscribed our names as Witnesses hereto Middn Smith John Wm Hyter George Ott Frederick County to wit On the 10th day of February 1810 then came John Crise and Peter Crise and made Oath on the Holy Evangels of Almighty God that the foregoing Instrument of writing is the true whole will and Testament of Henry Crise late of Frederick County decease that hath come to their hands & possession and that they do not Know of any Other Richard Butler Reg of Wills Frederick County to wit on the 10th day of February 1810 then came Middleton Smith John William Hyder and George Ott The three Subscribing Witnesses to the foregoing last will and Testament of Henry Crise late of Frederick County decease and made Oath on the Holy Evangels of Almighty God that they did see the Testator therein named sign and seal this will they heard him publish pronounce & Declare the Same to be his last will and Testament that at the time of his so doing he was to the best of their Apprehensions of a sound and Disposing mind memory and Understanding that they respectively Subscribe their names as Witnesses to this Will in the presence and at the request of the Testator & all in the presence of each Other Richard Butler Reg of Wills
