I am trying to find information on a Ferry that was called Williams Ferry. John Williams who operated the Ferry near the mouth of Opequon Creek. (Pioneers of Old Frederick, p. 52) By 1729, John and Mary Williams lived between present day Liberty Town and Union Bridge, Frederick County, Maryland. They were possibly the parents of the John Williams who operated the Ferry near the mouth of Opequon Creek.
