COUNTY RECORDS section Equity Abstracts for JS-10, JS-12 and JS-14 are now complete. I am still working with the archives people on JS-11 and JS-13 and will continue the abstracts after the holidays. I have been able to finish the Chancery Index for Frederick County, with links to any abstracts I had from the past years. Some of them you may have seen, but there may be some new ones. Remember, sometimes names may be found in these records that don't appear on the docket index. In some cases, the people are not related to the ones in the docket; so, you just never know who you may find. You may want to use the search engine on the main page if looking for a particular name or land tract name. I uncovered some slave names as well; some in the abstracts, some in the index.
