    1. Re: [MDFR] BRISH-HOUCK
    2. Hi! I know that this is a few days late, but I got behind in my e-mail. John and Ann Eliza Houck Brish were my 3g-grandparents. Henry and Harriet Breisch/Brish were my 4g-grandparents and they ran a tavern in Frederick(I still have a sofa from the old tavern). After Henry's death, Harriet with sons Henry C. and William S. migrated to Tiffin, Ohio. Son John remained in Frederick. I knew that he died young, but I never knew about how little he left his young family. Where can I get copies of the court information? John's wife Ann Eliza was a Houck. Henry Houck was her brother. I don't have all my info together, but with the Brishes in Ohio, the Houck's and the Sinns looked after the Frederick Brishes. My grandfather, William Murray Brish, left me with the responsibility of finishing our family history. I am especially looking for any "personal or professional" info- what did my family do for a living, etc. My "Pop" Brish graduated from Frederick High School in 1924 and passed away soon after organizing his 75th High School Reunion. He was a principal in Frederick before moving into school administration in PG and Washington County. He wrote a memoir of his childhood "Growing Up in Frederick." He blessed me with love and an enthusiasm for all things- both old and new. He also gave me most of the books that I do "lookups" for those with ancestors in Frederick County. I'd appreciate any info about my early generations- Breisch(Brish), Houck, Sinn,Murray, etc. Melinda, 6th generation to be born in Frederick
