On June 19, 1802, the first issue of The Fredericktown Herald was published. On June 19, 1910, the Rev. Henri L. G. Kieffer was installed as the pastor of The Evangelical Reformed Church on West Church Street in Frederick, now known as the Evangelical Reformed, United Church of Christ.
