Father : George Hardye family (6) William, bapt 23 Feb 1689/90 buried 31 May 1690 (7) Mary, Buried 2 Sep 1697 (8) clare, bapt 1 May 1697 The article goes on to say " Thus we find in Leicester, England, a repetition of the names George, William. and Henry Hardey with a consecration of the given name William in Kegworth Parish in the early 1700's. In the records examined for Leicester, Hardey's were found primarily in the north and north central parts of the county, and the wills examined showed them to have been smiths and craftsmen."
