Since my previous query on ELEANOR STONE who married GEORGE HARDY giving her birthdate as 6 Jul 1764 it appears that she is the daughter of JOSEPH STONE in his will with wife ELIZABETH unknown, the will not dated from my record which names ELEANOR with the same birthdate. These records were at Upper Chappel at Broad Creek in Prince George's County. Since my first query I have found other STONE's at Upper Chappel at Broad Creek which consists of the following : (1) DAVID STONE ; wife SUSANNAH ; Children : ELEANOR born 21 Aug 1772 (2) JAMES STONE ; wife MARTHA Dau : ANNE born 31 Mar 1774. (3) JOSEPH STONE ; wife ELIZABETH Dau : MARY CALVERT born 9 Mar 1774 The original will of JOSEPH STONE named wife ELIZABETH unknown and....... Children : i. ANN born 25 Aug 1761 ii. THOMAS bapt 16 Sep 1766 iii. HENRY born 19 Oct 1768 iv. ELEANOR born 6 Jul 1764 ... this is my cousins grandparent who married GEORGE HARDY. All records are at Upper Chappel at Broad Creek in Prince George's County. Looking for the parennts of JOSEPH STONE father of the above family. Marianne Dillow
