I appreciate everyone on the list that has helped me with trying to prove my Hardy line in Loudoun back to William Hardy 1718. As a way of repaying those people on the list I have posted Virginia records to let you know some of your families were in Virginia. Most of the Cameron Parish Records in Loudoun County, Va. were destroyed with only a remnant left for 1765. These records are for the District above Goose Creek and Little River to the county line of Fauquier. My Hardy line lived on Goose Creek as well as the 1772 deed from Thomas Dent for his niece Ann Gordon (daughter of George Hardey, Jr. and wife Lucy Dent ,sister of Thomas Dent)) ; and John Middeton and wife Mary lived on Goose Creek in 1750 when Loudoun had not been formed from Fairfax County yet. Compton ?; Joshua Gore : Thomas Gore ; John Gore ; John Hatton ? ; James Hawkins ; (my Wm. Hardie ); Charles Lewis ; Stephen Lewis ; Lee Massey ; Walter Middleton ; Holland Middleton, Jr. ; Thos. Middleton, Jr. ; Holland Middleton ; Thos. Middleton ; Isaac Nichols ; Pines Owsley ; John Dueat Owsley ; Thos. Owsley ; Newdijate Owsley ; Chris. Perfect ; Nathaniel Smith ; John Scott ; Richd. Tavener ; Wm. Triplett ; Thos. Triplett ; Danl. Triplett ; and James Hamilton. There is also an Oxley family and some Smith's but I don't know if their from MD or not.
