I may have mentioned this before. I have a Rezin/Reason Harbin born about 1758 married to Mary McVea who had a son Hanson Harbin. William Harbin was the father of this line.William Harbin lived on Goose Creek in MD. Does this creek begin in MD and run into VA? I have heard that some people name their children after good friends or relatives. Sincew I do not know the name of William's first wife except for Alice surname unknown. Could there be some kind of connection here? Betty: There is a Goose Creek in Virginia as well. I believe that it runs through present-day Loudon County. Judging by the notes read on this maillist, many MD residents re-located there.
